Spoken sources[edit]

I need some help. I created a spoken version of the first chapter (so far) and have no way of adding it to the Chapter 01 page. Generally, the {{listen}} tag goes in the notes parameter of the {{header}} template. If I add {{listen}} above or below the <pages> code, the listen gadget is placed where it does not look good. My understanding of the header parameter of the <pages> tag is that it can choose between different styles of header or header fields can be overwritten. Seems that the former method is used in the pages associated with this work. I don't know enough about how all this works to boldly edit this index page to try to get a second styled heading. Can anyone help? If it is impossible, can you suggest a way to list the spoken work so that it is related to this source? PopularOutcasttalk2me! 16:04, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds interesting. Sorry I didn't run across your note earlier. The <pages> tag has a "notes" argument (currently not used). Whatever the contents are goes after the automatically generated note. So you would do something like <pages index="..." ... notes="; {{listen|...whatever goes here...}}" />. I can do the installation if you tell me the name of the file to use for {{listen}}. I am currently redoing this whole project with a later edition. I'm only up to the Introduction at this point. See Democracy in America (Reeve). I found there are additional chapters in this later edition. I don't know how the shared chapters changed. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 17:42, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
