Here's my idea for an arrangement of chapters. The second volume is the appendices etc., so there is no need for "(Volume 1)" to go on chapters.

I have sorted out the <pagelist/> in order to make the page pattern according to how they are in the book; where pages with images are labelled "Image" and blank pages are "-". --Angelprincess72 (talk) 12:12, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but isn't using en dashes for all unnumbered pages better? I don't like the look of File:File-Page 123 image (The Grouse in Health and in Disease (Volume 1)).jpg, with its removed blue background. Perfectionism … —innotata 20:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed the dashes to en dashes. However, I've noticed that there is no blue background in the original image. --Angelprincess72 (talk) 15:03, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see something of a tint in the background. The current image doesn't look very good and it is obvious it has been altered from the border. An unaltered crop would surely be better. —innotata 00:13, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The frontispiece is worse. It has an obvious blue background which again only appears at the edges. —innotata 00:15, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Page:GrouseinHealthVol1.djvu/142 terribly needs a better version—a simple crop, again, would look better as far as I can tell. —innotata 01:18, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
