On the page the chinese language text is a continuous block across the page, In the version currently it's in blocks down the page.
If this was the only way to do this however.

@ShakespeareFan00: It can be done by applying writing-mode: vertical-rl to 〈poem〉, but I didn't think it was a great priority, as modern Chinese text is left-to-right (Westernized), and site CSS for 〈poem〉〈ol〉 has margin specifications that translate poorly to writing-mode: vertical-rl (which is why attributes like margin-block-start were devised). (Unrelated, but I am heavily judging the printers' decision to resize the text to fit the page, such that the stroke-dense Chinese is of a smaller font size than the English text, and the resulting scan is relatively smudged. Fish bowl (talk) 20:04, 10 October 2023 (UTC))Reply
