My dear Mr. Wilder:—

I have been ill and am not yet able to write, but I cannot allow another day to pass without thanking you for the two poems and for the pleasure it has given me to receive them.

I hope you are quite well, and am with cordial regard,

Faithfully yours,

Florence Earle Coates.
