Coll., Oxon, 1866, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a student of the Middle Temple 27 Oct., 1862, called to the bar 6 June, 1868 (4th son of late Major Bruce Gardyne, of Middleton, co. Forfar, and of 37th regt.); born 4 Aug., 1834; married 29 May, 1883, Azemia Helen, eldest dau. of Thomas Sellar, Esq., of Hall Grove, Surrey.
