Milman, Henry Salusbury, F.S.A., M.A. (late fellow), All Souls' Coll., Oxon, 1848, B.A. Merton Coll. 1844, assistant land commissioner 1882, assistant enclosure commissioner 1877-82, director of Society of Antiquaries since 1880, a member of the Oxford circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 7 June, 1844 (then aged 22), called to the bar 5 May, 1848 (2nd son of late Lt.-Genl. Francis Miles Milman, dec.); born 26 Nov., 1821; married 6 Aug., 1857, Matilda Jane, widow of Eliot Warburton, Esq., younger dau. of Edward Grove, Esq., of Shenstone Park, co. Staff.; she died 23 Oct., 1861, leaving 3 daus. (see Foster's Baronetage).
