Walsh, Rev. William, M.A., St. John's Coll., Camb., 1842, rector of Great Coates, co. Linc., since 1875, sinecure rector of Great Tey since 1854 and of Shorwell, Isle of Wight, since 1878, J.P. Essex, a student of the Inner Temple 3 June, 1837 (then aged 20), called to the bar 29 April, 1843 (2nd son of Rev. H. L. Walsh, LL.D., of Grimblethorpe Hall, Norfolk, canon of St. Patrick's, Dublin); born , 1817; married , 1851, Martha, dau. of A Saunders, of Ferns.
