Whereas the House of People's Representatives passed a resolution on the 7th day of March 2477 BE expressing its approval for inviting His Highness Prince Ananda Mahidol to ascend the throne and further continue the royal line in line with the dispositions of section 9 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Siam; and
Whereas, by the telegram dated 7 March 2477 BE, the Cabinet has invited His Highness Prince Ananda Mahidol to ascend the throne from the date and time His Majesty the King abdicated the royal throne;
Therefore, it is hereby announced for general knowledge that a king, His Highness Prince Ananda Mahidol, has ascended the throne to continue the royal line from the described date and time on.
