Preliminary stipulations

Section 1

This Act shall be called the Penal Code.

Section 2

This Act shall apply as law from the 21st day of the month of September, the 127th year of the Rattanakosin Era, the 41st year of this reign, onwards.

Section 3

From the day this Code becomes applicable, repealed shall be:

(1)all the laws and statutes stated in the schedule at the end of this Code;
