the Premier, advised Him to announce, and countersigned, the Royal Decree dated 1 April 2476 Buddhist Era for prorogation of the House of Representatives and suspension of the application of certain sections of the Constitution without relying upon any constitutional power, thereby causing deterioration to the sanctity of the Constitution, the new Prime Minister, Colonel Phraya Phahonphonphayuhasena, together with a party of army officers, naval officers, and civilians, had to arrange for the former Council of Ministers to resign so as to pave the way for Him to grant the opening of the House of Representatives, and the President of the House of Representatives, First-Class High Courtier Chaophraya Phichaiyat, had to arrange for the successful opening of a session of the House in line with the requests from Colonel Phraya Phahonphonphayuhasena and from Members [of the House] seeking the opening of the House of Representatives according to section 32 of the Constitution.

Now that He has granted the opening of an extraordinary session of the House of Representatives and the Constitution has smoothly been implemented, it is appropriate to repeal the Royal Decree Proroguing the House of Representatives dated 1 April 2476 Buddhist Era;
