Sh'mini p. 193b while the King is engaged בא׳ וכ׳ שלו in his hilaria, ask of him what you need. Cant. R.to IV, 4 וכ׳ באלירא עומדין היו לא (corr. acc.) (at Mount Sinai) they did not stand (as) in hilaria, but in awe, trembling &c.
*אלריא a disease; prob. a corruption of אילייא (eile~~, ieus) liac passion, spasm of the abdominal muscles connected with vomiting. Git. 70a א׳ אחזתו מיושב Ar. (ed. דלריא as in the sentence following).
