מאיסותא f. (מאיס) repulsiveness. Men. 69a מ׳ משום וכ׳ למאיסותיהו אזדא. . . הוא Ms. R. (ed. דמאיסותא) is it on account of repulsiveness (that they must not be used for offerings), and when they have been sown, their repul- siveness is gone, or &c. ?
