צימדא m. = h. צמד, yoke; a yoke of oxen. B. Bath. 77b וע צ לצ׳ דקרו where they call a yoke tsimda and the oxen bakar &c.; וכ כוליה צ׳ לבקר נמי ליה דקרו where they call also the oxen tsimda, there (in selling the צמד) he sold him the whole (the yoke and the animals).
צימוח, צמוח m. (צמח) sprouting, growth. Tosef. Neg. IV, 2 בצ׳ להציל to save (relieve from the leper's restrictions) by the growth of black hair (Lev. XIII, 31).

צימח, צמ׳ m. (צמח) 1) v. צומח. 2) a goat with long hair lumps and long, dependent ears. Bekh. 44a אף תנא הצ׳ (Ar. הצימע) it has been taught (in addition to the blemishes mentioned) also a person looking like a tsim- meah; וכ׳ צ׳ מאי רבנן ידעי הוו לא the Rabbis did not tnow what ts. was, when they heard an Arab (trader) call out, who wants a ts.'?, and it was found to be a shaggy goat (v. חויזא II).

צימרא, צמ׳ m. (צמר) heat, fever. Pes. 55b צ׳ פרח מינה her heat has left her (the breeding hen's desire to hatch is gone). Hull. 51a וכ׳ הוא בעלמא צ׳ it is merely the fever (from the inficted wound) that has seized them (and we need apprehend no injury to a vital organ). Gitt. 69b ברא צ׳ outside fever (eruption); גוונא צ׳ inner fever; a. e. -- P. צימרי, צמ. Ib. צ לכולהו דמעליא Rashi (ed. צימרא, corr. acc.) it is good for all kinds of fever.
צין, צין (denom. of ציון) to put up a pile, to mark. Shek. I, 1; M. Kat. I, 2 (2a) הקברות על מציינין Y. ed. (Bab. ed. a. Mish. את; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 2) graves are marked (with lime). Ib. 5b וציינוה קבר . . שדה (not ד) a field in which a grave was lost, and which they marked. Maas. Sh. V, 1 וכ׳ מציינין רבעי כרם a vineyard in the fourth year is marked with clods of earth, . . and graves with lime &c. Y. Shek. I, 46a top (ref. to M. Kat. I, 2) מאדר ציינו כבר לא had they not marked them in Adar? Ib. (ref. to ובנה, Es.
