There are several explanations of it hamm. means'trouble-- some'; וכ׳ שוטין המ׳ hamomorim means fools', for in the sea towns they call fools morim (v. מורוס) אומרים ויש מלמדיהן את שמורים המ׳ and some say, hommm. means those who presume to teach their teachers; (or) חצים המורים וכ׳ those who shoot arrows (with ref. to ISam. XXXI, 3); v. ידה; Num. R. s. 19.
