רדי, רדה II (b. h., cmp. ירד) to take down; to detach, break of, esp. a) to take honey out of the beer-hive. Ikts. III, 10 וכ׳ ממנה והרודה . . כוורת a bee-hive . . . is regnrded as landed estate .., and he who breaks honey out of it on the Sabbath &c.; Shebi. X, 7; B. Bath. 66a; 80b. B. רדיינית f. (v. רדי III) fit for ploughing, gentle. Ruth R. to I, 19 וכ׳ היא ו׳ ואמר . הדיוטית לפרה ike a. common cow whom her owner exhibits in the market, Saying, she is a ploughing cow and makes even furrows; וכ׳ מכוותה אילין ו׳ אין אמרין (not מכרתיה) if she be a. gentle cow, what do these her burns (scabs) mean?; Yallk. ib. 601 רוריינים (corr. acc. the entire passage).
