†[אֵב] n. [m.] freshness, fresh green (LagBN207 Inf. ibb; thence concr., cf. Ar. أَبّ‎; above stem & mng. better than √אנב‎ (spring) cf. As. inbu, fruit, Aram. אִנְבֵּהּ‎ (q.v.)
