Renvoy: m. A sending backe, a dismission; a referring from one vnto another. Renvoy de prisonniers. A sending of prisoners from one Iudge to another, or from a Court of Parliament vnto some inferiour Iudge. Simple renvoy. A simple dismission; graunted vnto one that being appealed, or called before a superior Iudge, requires to be dismissed to the prosecuting of his suit alreadie begun, before the inferior (his ordinarie) Judge: Another kind of Renvoy (tearmed otherwise Congé de cour) is graunted vnto such as are appealed, or called before Iudges that haue no iurisdiction ouer them. Faire renvoy. To dismisse, or send backe; to release, to discharge. Faire des renvois. A Dictionarie &c, to referre you, in one word, vnto another, by the tearmes of, Looke, See, Seeke, &c.

Repaire: m. A lodging, or haunt; the place whereto one vsually repaires; also, the denne, or couert wherein a wild beast lurkes; also, the dung of a Hare. Faulcon de repaire. A Hagard which euer keepes one certaine stand at night; and hence; Cet oiseau n'est de long repaire. Resorts not much to, or stayes not long in, one place. Mauvais repaire. A place wherein spirits haunt, or walke; also, an apparition, or spirit.
Repairer. To haunt, frequent, lodge in, repaire vnto, one certaine place.
Repaissaille: f. A feeding, a repast.
Repaistre. To feed, nourish, victuall; to giue or take food, nourishment, victuals. Repaistre de bayes. To feede with trifles, or vaine hopes; to intertaine with fibs, or friuolous tearmes. Repaistre en Commissaire. See Commissaire. Repaistre les corbeaux. To feed Rauens, become Rauens food, hang in chaines. Il faut que l'herbe soit bien courte quand on ne trouve que repaistre: Prov. The grasse had need be verie short where nothing's to be nibled. Mal de teste veut repaistre: Prov. (The head smarts for the stomackes emptinesse;) headach refection craues.

Reparation: f. A reparation, amendment, renewing, recouerie of decayed things; also, a full restitution, or satisfaction. Reparations. The repaires, or the reparations, of houses, &c; whereof, sayes a French Lawyer, there be three (generall) kinds; viz. les necessaires, without which the thing had fallen downe, or been much the worse; les vtiles; by meanes whereof it is greatly improued; & les voluptaires, ou de plaisir; seruing onely for ornament, and the tenants delight.
