"I hope none will queſtion the following relation, when they conſider that ſome of the miniſters of Edinburgh, whole names are mentioned, were ear witneſs to ſeveral paſſages contained therein. How precious and deſirable a thing is divine grace at death? Guilt breeds confounding horror and anguiſh: grace outlaſts the things of time: theſe are ſick of conſumption: grace is incorruptible and everlaſting. It is the effect of electing mercy, and the ſeed of glory.---Chriſt is the fountain of communications, ſweetneſs love, and a ſcreen betwixt believers and eternal wrath; and therefore a part in Chriſt is worth a million of worlds."
