TRANSACTIONS OF THE OXFOED MEETING. The publication originally contemplated of a volume commemorative of the Oxford Meeting of the Institute having been unavoidably abandoned, the principal memoirs read on that occasion have appeared from time to time in the " Archaeological Journal." For the gratification of those who were desirous to possess those memoirs in another form, as a continuation of the series of Annual Volumes, and for the convenience of persons who maj' not possess the Journal, the Central Committee directed a small number of copies to be printed, comprising the most interesting memoirs read at the Oxford Meeting. All persons who may wish to purchase this " Oxford Volume," which is nearly ready for delivery, are requested to make early application to the Secretaries. SUEVEY OF THE WATLING STEEET, THROUGH THK COUNTIES OF NORTHUMBERLAND AND DURHAM.
