One full-page plate in colour by Arthur Rackham entitled, “The Windfall.” There is also an edition bound in gray wrappers with black lettering, published at the same time. There are two articles in the book, “The History of The Royal Society of Painters in Water-Colour” and “The Members of the Society,” by A. L. Baldry.

Bound in tan cloth with pictorial stamping on the cover in black and gold and black lettering, and gold lettering on the spine. 247 numbered pages, 5¾×8. There is a later issue with the same date on the title page, but the pictorial stamping on the cover is entirely in black with gold lettering on the spine. Six illustratons by various artists. This book is a collection of stories. The story illustrated by Arthur Rackham first appeared in Little Folks Magazine in 1905, with the same illustrations.
