Bound in white cloth with pictorial stamping in gold on the cover and spine, and gold lettering; gilt top. 223 numbered pages, 8¾×11¼. This edition is limited to 1450 numbered and signed copies, of which 250 are reserved for the United States of America, 200 for Australia, and 1000 for Great Britain and Ireland. Twelve full-page illustrations in colour mounted on brown paper and fifty-three drawings in black end white.

There is a trade edition bound in green cloth with the same pictorial stamping in gold on the cover and gold lettering. This edition has the same number of illustrations as the limited edition, with added pictorial end-papers. Size of page, 5¾×8.

American Edition: Bound in green cloth with an illustration from the book pasted on the cover. The book is the same as the English trade edition with the exception of the binding. Published by Doubleday, Page & Co., New York. The limited edition is bound in brown boards with pictorial stamping in gold. 250 copies signed by the artist.

Bound in light green cloth with vellum back and corners, laced with ribbon; lettering on the cover in gold. Twelve large proof-size plates in colour mounted in mats. Size of page, 18¾×21¼. These same pictures appeared in the 1906 edition, but they were much smaller. This edition is limited to 500 copies numbered 101 to 600. Signed by the publishers, engravers and printers. A few of these portfolios had every plate signed by the artist, but Mr. Rackham advises that he signed only about twenty. There were supposed to be 100 signed.
