So it's important that you answer each question with an audible verbal response.
We ask that you provide complete answers based on your best recollection. If a question is not clear, please ask for clarification. If you do not know the answer, then just simply say so. You may only refuse to answer a question to preserve a privilege recognized by the select committee. If you refuse to answer a question based on privilege, staff may either proceed with the deposition or seek a ruling from the chairman based on the objection.
