April 14, 1802 ; educated at Harrow, and at Christ Church, Oxford; was a Lord in Waiting to the Queen 1S6/ 8, Lord High Commissioner of Scotland, a Dep. -Lieut, of Haddingtonshire, and Lieut. -Command- ant of the East Lothian Yeomanry Cavalry ; succeeded his cousin 1858 ; assumed in 1859 the additional and original surname of Hamilton to that of Baillie ; m. 1824, Georgiana, daughter of Ven. and Rev. Robert Markham, Archdeacon of York ; he d. June, 1870, leaving issue five sons and three daughters. Her ladyship d. 18/3. Haddo, Baron, title borne by the Earl of Aberdeen. Haldane (Duncan-Haldane), family name of the Earl of Camperdown.
