Sancroft's unblemish'd Life, divinely Pure,
In its own heav'nly Innocence secure,
The Teeth of Time, the Blasts of envy shall endure.
When for th' Establish'd Faith they should contend,
Meekness and Christian Charity pretend;
But with a blind Enthusiastick Rage,
For Schism and Toleration they engage;
With strange Delight and Vehemence espouse
