Richard Gwyn, instituted 4th Feb. 1574-5. He was

made archdeacon of Bangor anno 1613, died 9th Sept.

1617, and was buried in the cathedral. John Baylie, A.M., 'precentor of this clmrch^ collated

2nd Oct. 1617. He could not have held it more than

two years. John Roberts, A.M., collated 11th Oct. 1619. William Hill, A.M., 4th Dec. 1626. He died in the

rebellion, after the year 1649. This stall was vacant

till 1660, when John Jones, A.M., collated 13th July 1660. He died

about 1673, succeeded by Simon Lloyd, A.M., instituted 2nd May 1673. He

was archdeacon of Merioneth. He died 4th Dec. 1675?

succeeded by Francis Lloyd, A.M., was collated 5th Nov. 1679-^^.

Afterwards archdeacon of Merioneth, He died anno

1712, succeeded by John Ellis, S.T.P,, was collated 26th March 1713^^. John Conant was collated 11th Oct. 1735, vice John

Ellis 60.

Richard Evans was collated ist Sept. 1779, vice John Conant 61; died

Henry Warren was collated nth Sept. 1797, vie Richard Evans^-. Ob. 21st June 1845, aged 73. And this prebend became vested in the Ecclesiastical Com- missioners.

PENMYNYD, alias PENNENITH.

Richard Myrian held this dignity anno 1508.
