22Edw.lv. Exeter, became bishop of Salisbury by papal provision,

and had the temporalities restored to him 2 S t h March

receive consecration out of the church of Canterbury? 9 .

He died in 14S4. The custody of the temporalities of

the see, forfeited by Lionel bishop of Salisbury, were

granted 15th March [4834 to Thomas bishop of St.

1 tavid's ; and on 5th I tec. following, the conge* dYlin .

vice Lionel Wydeville deceased, issued 81 .

1485 Thou is Langton, bishop 0/ St. David's, was translated

iBic.Hl. t<> this Bee by papal bull dated 8th Feb. 1484 5 s9 .

He made his profession of obedience at Cnole -;~d' 1

April . and had the temporalities restored to him

4th May following 84 . In 1493 he was translated to

Winchester. The license to elect, on the translation of Thomas Langton to Winchester, is dated 20th New 1493 John Blythe, archdeacon of Huntingdon and Richmond, rjik'ii.vii. succeeded, and had the temporalities restored to him 22nd Dec. . He had license to be consecrated oul of the church of Canterbury 20th Feb. [493-4, and v consecrated at Lambeth on the 23rd of the same month 8 ?. He died 23rd Aug. 1409, and was buried in his own cathedral". His will, dated 23rd Aug. 1499^

was proved 20th Sept. 1499 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. 1500 Henry Dean, bishop of Bangor, was translated to 1 5 Hen. VII. this see, the custody of the temporalities of which was granted to him ;th Dec. [499, and plenary re- storation of them was made to him 22nd March
