Another bright, hot day. In afternoon, Nellie and I went to Terminal Island Terminal Island on the 2:14 Salt Lake Train, returning at 6:30. Got a fine collection of shells, fare 50¢.

First cloudy morning for a week. In afternoon Dr. Carter and I went to Terminal Island Terminal Island and got a very fine lot of shells including Cardium Cardium etc. Mrs. Neil Lagard of North Dakota North Dakota gave us some fine specimens, and Mrs. Louisa Shattuck of Terminal Island Terminal Island gave us some very delicate shells not to be found usually on the beaches.
