Very bright and hot. In afternoon, Nellie and I went to Miramar Miramar, San Diego, east of town, for fossils. Last year we collected Pleistocene fossils at the foot of the bluff east of the easternmost stairway. Collected some more at the same place. Also, west of the stairway we found a similar horizon, probably contemporaneous, full of fossils, underlaid by a great bed of oysters oyster, two or three feet
