Baptism
Cel.This is eternal life; love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all soul, and with all your mind, and your neigbor as yourself. This is the first and greatest commandment.
¶ Afterward blow in the face of the child with a cold breath three times, forming the ✠, and say:
Cel.Begone from him (or her), unclean spirit, and give way to the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete.
¶ Then make a ✠ over the forehead, and another on the chest over the heart, and say:
Cel.N. Accept this sign of God the Father almighty, on the forehead ✠ as well as on the heart, ✠ so that you may fulfill well his precepts and commandments.
¶ Then exhale with a warm baho the face of the child three times in the shape of a ✠ and say.
