She is turned three-quarters left, and looks at the spectator. She holds a fan in her hands. She wears a grey dress embroidered in gold, with a lace collar and ruffles. She wears a white cap and a black dress, with a ruff and lace ruffles at her wrists. The light and shade are very strongly contrasted for this early date.
