("Anaf: also known as Anan; probably a contracted form of the name Ananiah in its Greek form. 'Avavn^. which is employed by Josephus): Son of Sethi, or Seth (Jo.sephus, ""Ant." xviii. 2, § 1), a Jewish high priest.
