XXXIV. Hu se Wisdom hæfde gereht hwæt ꝥ hehste god wæs; wolde him þa gereccan hwær hit wæs, ⁊ hu of þam mycelan gode cumað[1] þa læssan.

XXXV. Hu se Wisdom lærde þæt Mod ꝥ hit sohte oninnan him ꝥ hit ær ymbutan hit sohte, ⁊ forlæte unnytte ymbhogan swa he swiðost mihte; ⁊ hu God wealt ealra gesceafta ⁊ eallra goda mid þā steorroðre his godnesse.

XXXVI. Hu ꝥ Mod sæde þā Wisdome ꝥ hit ongeateþ him God reahte þurh hine þæt ꝥ he rehte; ⁊ forhwy se goda God læte ænig yfel beon; ⁊ hu seo Gesceadwisnes bæd ꝥ Mod ꝥ hit sæte on hire scridwæne, ⁊ heo sceolde beon his ladteaw; ⁊ hu heo sæde ꝥ tu[2] ðing wæren, willa ⁊ anweald; gif hwam þara auþres wana wære, ꝥ heora ne mihte naðer buton oþrum nauht don.

XXXVII. Be þam ofermodan rican ⁊ unryhtwisan, ⁊ hu mon hehþ þone heafodbeah æt þæs ærneweges ⁊ hu mon sceolde ælcne mon hatan be þam deore þe he gelicost wære.

XXXVIII. Be Troia gewinne; hu Eulixes se cyning hæfde[3] twa ðeoda under þam casere, ⁊ hu his þegnas wurdan forsceapene to wildeorū.

XXXIX. Be ryhtre[4] fiounge ⁊ be unrihtre, ⁊ be ryhtum eadleane, ⁊ hu mistlicu witu[5] ⁊ manigfeald earfoðu[6] ⁊ oft cumað to þam godu swa hi to þam yfelū sceoldan; ⁊ be þære foreteohhunga Godes ⁊ be þære wyrde.
