the ſaid Proceſs fhall be directed to the ſaid Perſon, ſo named for that Purpoſe; and the Cause of ſuch ſpecial Proceeding hall be ſuggeſted, and entered on the Records of the ſame.

Court to appoint Clerks and Officers, with ſuch reaſonable Salaries as shall be approved of by Govenot General and Council. And We do further authorize and empower the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal, from time to Time, us Occaſion may require, to appoint ſo many and ſuch Clerks, and other Miniſterial Officers, as ſhall be found neceſſary, for the Administration of Juſtice, and the due Exccution of all the Powers, and Authorities, which are and ſhall be granted, and committed, to the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort William in Bengal by theſe Our Letters Patent: And it is Our further Will and Pleaſure, and We do hereby, for Us Our Heirs and Succeſſors, give, grant, direct and appoint, that all and every the Officers and Clerks, to be appointed as aforeſaid, ſhall have and receive reſpectively ſuch reaſonable Salaries as the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal, ſhall appoint, for each Office and Place reſpectively, and as the Governer General and Council appointed, conſtituted and created, by the Act of Parliament, herein before mentioned, ſhall approve of: Such Oficers to reſide in the Juriſdiction of the Court.Provided always, and it is Our Will and Pleaſure, that all and every the Officers and Clerks, to be appointed as aforeſaid, ſhall be reſident within the Limits of the Juriſdiction of the ſaid Court, ſo long as they ſhall hold their reſpective Offices

Court to approve Advocates and Attornies at Law, who are to plead and act for the Suitors; and be removeable on reaſonable Cauſe.And We do hereby further authorize and empower the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal, to approve, admit, and enrol ſuch and ſo many Advocates, and Attornies at Law, as to the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal ſhall ſeem meet, who ſhall be Attornies of Record, and ſhall be, and are hereby authorized to appear and plead, and act for the Suitors of the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal; and the ſaid Advocates and Attornies, on reaſonable cauſe to remove; and no other Perſon or Perſons whatſoever, but ſuch Advo-cates
