Sundays. Townbery broke his arm.

AUG. 28.

Sent T home with team & traps. Started home with flock with L - & A - as I wished them to travel slowly and feed well - Met Tucker at Fist Pool; & cut a load of poles while sheep laid up.

AUG. 29.

Came to Tucker Pool where I left them with L and A & came on to prepare a place for shearing.

AUG. 30.

Cleared yards, fixed pens &c.

AUG 31.

(Preparations) Cutting boughs to put under sheep, preparing bales & many other jobs.

SEPT. 1.

Commenced shearing with T & L only. (about 10½ hours) find it slow as the wool is dirty.

SEPT. 2.

The same.
