This song, like the last one is also sung by boys when playing at 打花巴 掌 ta3 hua1 pa1 chang3. 正月正 Cheng1 yüe4 cheng1, the first moon. 蓮 花 燈 lien2 hua1 teng1, Lantern made of paper and shaped like a lotus flower. 逛 燈 kuang4 teng1, means to go out on the streets to look at the different shows of lanterns exhibited during five days, from the thirteenth to the seventeenth in the first month in the year. The regular day for the show is the 15th on which falls the 燈節 teng1 chie2 feast of lanterns. 念着佛 nien4 cho Fuo2, uttering prayers before Buddha. 串枝蓮 ch'uan4 chih1 lien2, a wild flower not unlike the lotus.
