It is expected that you will have a watchful care over the interests of this Grand Chapter; see that its Constitutions, By-Laws and Regulations, orders and edicts are promptly enforced throughout this jurisdiction, that subordinate officers discharge their duties and that, by your own respect for law and good government, you will cause all others to find the strongest incentive of obedience to all lawful commands.
