C A P. XIV. For Prices of Wines. Provided alway, That the Lord Chancellor, Lord Treafurer, Lord Prefulent of the King's moft The Prices of honourable Council, Lord Privy Seal, and the two Chief Juftices of either Bench, or five, four, or three i5" n " ( [ ol , < ! I" of them, fhall have Power and Authority by their Difcretions to fet the Prices of all kind of Wines, that ff^.j f^l r j^ is to fay, of the Prices of the Butt, Tun, Pipe, Hogfhead, Puncheon, Tierce, Barrel or Rundlet, when it King's great fhall be fold in grofs, fo that they or any of them caufe the Prices by them fet, to be written, and open Pro- clamation thereof to be made in the King's Court of Chancery openly in the Term-time, or elfe in the City, 3+ H - s - c - 7- iugh or Town, where any fuch Wines fliall be fold in grofs ; any Thing contained in this Aft to the 37 H. (z) the one Half of all which Forfeitures tobe to the King our sign Lord, and the other Half thereof, if it be within any City, Borough or Town Corporate, to be to the Mayors, Sheriffs, Bailiff's or other Head Rulers of fuch Cities, Boroughs or Towns Corporate; (3) it be without City, Borough or Town Corporate, then to be to fuch of the King's Subjects as will iue for the fame; and that every fuch Forfeiture fliall be recovered by original Writ of Debt, Bill, Plaint or Information, in which Suit no Wager of Law fliall be admitted, nor any Protection or Elfoin allowed. IV.
