Item, That Days lhall be given in all Pleas, Plaints, Procefs anJ Adjournments, from Day to Day D»ys in Cou.-t. and Seflions to Seflions, by the Difcretion of the faid Juftices within the Limits of their Authorities, for the good and fp.ecdy Miniftration oi Juftice to all and lingular the King's Subjects, as is or hath been ufed in North Wales. XVI. Item, That one original Seal, deviled by the King's Highncfs for Juftice to be miniftred in the faid Original Se»Ii in three Shires of North Wales, that is to fay, -the Shires of Merioneth, Caernarvon and Anglefey, lhall be and " llolc c « ftoil y remain in the Charge, Keeping and Cuftody of the Chamberlain oi North Waks. _ they (hall be. And that one other original Seal, deviled by the King's Majefty for Miniftration of Juftice, to be ufed in the faid three Shires of Caermarthen, Pembroke and Cardigan, lhall be and remain in the Charge and Keeping of the Chamberlain of South Wales. XVIII. And that likewife one other original Seal, devifed by the King's Majefty for Adminiftration of Juftice, to be ufed in the faid three Shires oi Brecknock, Radnor and Glamorgan, lhall be and remain in the Charge and Cuftody of the Steward and Chamberlain oi Brecknock. XIX. And that alfo one other original Seal, deviled by the King's Majefty for Miniftration of Juftice to be miniftred within the (aid Shires ot Denbigh and Montgomery, fhall be and remain in the Charge, Keeping and Cuftody of the Steward and Chamberlain oi Denbigh. XX. And that the original Seal of Chefter lhall be and ftand for the original Seal oi Flint, for Juftice to be miniftred in the laid Shire of Flint, and lhall be and remain in the Charge, Keeping and Cuftody of the Chamberlain of Chejler. XXI. Item, That the faid Stewards and Chamberlains fhall feal with the faid Seals, that is to fay, every what /hall he one of them lhall feal with the Seal to his Charge committed, all manner of original Writs and Procefs, re- fealcd with the ■ turnable before the faid Juftices at the Seflions to be holden in every of the faid Shires, in Manner and Form original Seals, as is aforefaid, (2) and lhall feverally account and anfvver the King's Majefty for the Profits of the fame Seal: (3) And that none of the faid Stewards, Chamberlains or Chancellors, having the Charge and Keep- The Authority ing of the faid Seals, lhall by Occaiion thereof, or by Colour of any of their Offices, compel or caufe any of the Keepers Perfon or Perfons inhabiting within any of the faid twelve Shires, to appear before themfelves or their De- of the s " ls > puties, ne lhall have Power and Authority to hear or determine any Pleas of the Crown, nor other Caufcs i nd towhaton| y or Matters of Juftice, otherwife than in this Ordinance is limited and exprefTed; but fhall have the Charge fljjfufe thlm, and Keeping of the faid Seals, to feal all fuch original Writs and Procefs as fhn.ll be returnable before the faid Juftices in their faid Seflions, as is before fpecified, and as hereafter lhall be declared; (4) which Writs and Procefs lhall be ufed, made, fealedand returned, in Manner and Form as hath been ufed before the Juftice of North Wales. XXII. Item, That all fuch Perfons as now be or hereafter fhall be the King's Highnefs Stewards, Cham- The Keeper of bcrlains or Chancellors, within any of the faid twelve Shires, which by realon of their faid Offices have thcS Charges for the Receipt, Collection or Accompt, of and for the King's Rents, Revenues, Farms or Profits, a w»ni Procefs to be due to his Majefty within the faid Dominion of Wales, may direct Procefs under the faid Seal, being comptants" rc- ! in their Charge and Cuftody, within the Limits of their Authorities, only againft Bailiffs, Reeves, Far- tenable before i mers and other Minifters Accomptant, to appear before themfelves, to anfwer to and for any the King's Re- themfelves. j venues, Farms, Rents or Profits, and for none other Caufes, nor againft any other Perfon or Perfons, in like Manner an:! Item, That all Stewards of any Lordlhips or Manors in Wales lhall and may keep and hold fuch stewards of Ma- 1 Leets, Lawdays or Court Barons, as appertaineth and belongeth to the Lordlhips and Manors whereof they norsmayhold I be Stewards, (z) and hold Pleas by Plaint under the Sum of xl. s. in every fuch Court Baron, (5) and ' have and enjoy all other Authorities, Commodities and Profits as Stewards of Leets, Lawdays and Con Barons in England commonly have and been ufed to have by reafon of the faid Offices, and none other; any Law, Ufage or Cuftom in the laid Dominion oi Wales heretofore had to the contrary hereof notwirlu- j ftandintr.
