Provided further, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That if any Perfon or Perfons what- The Penalty for foever fhall or do at any Time after the End of this Scflion of Parliament, receive or take any Money, £'""6 or tikmj Fee, Reward or any other Profit, directly or indirectly, or dial I take any Promife, Agreement, Covenant, of Rcw;lr<h to Bond or other Afl'urance, to receive or have any Money, Fee, Reward or any other Profit, directly or indi- ^ a ^ e k *™i"' rectly, either to him or themfelves or to any other of their or any of their Friends, (all ordinary and law- cence to % pre»ii»i ful Fees only excepted) for or to procure the ordaining or making of any Minilter or Minifters, or giving of any Orders, or Licence or Licences to preach ; that then every Perfon and Perfons fo offending fhall for every fuch Offence forfeit and lofe the Sum of forty Pounds or lawful Money of England ; (2) and the Party fo corruptly ordained or made Minuter, or taking Orders, fhall forfeit and lofe the Sum of ten Pounds : (3) And if at any Time within feven YeaTrs next after fuch corrupt Entring into the Minhtry, or receiving of Orders, he fhall accept or take any Benefice, Living or Promotion Ecclefiaitic; 1, That then immediatly from and after the Induction, Inverting or Installation thereof or thereunto had, the fame Benefice, Li- ving and Promotion Ecclefiaftical fhall be eftfoons meerly void ; (4) and that the Patron or Perfon to whom the Advowfon, Gift, Prefentation or Collation fhall by Law appertain, fhall and may, by Virtue of this Ait, prefent or collate unto, give and difpofe of the fame Benefice, Living or Promotion Ecclefiaftical, in fuch Sort to- all Intents and Purpofes, as if the Party fo inducted, inverted or inftalled, had been or were naturally dead ; any Law, Ordinance, Qualification or Difpenfation to the contrary notwithstanding : (5) Who (hall h»s The one Moiety of all which Forfeitures fhall be to our Sovereign Lady the Queen, her Heirs ana Sue- thc Forfeiture*, ceffors, and the other Moiety to him or them that will fue for the fame, by Action of Debt, Bill, Plaint JJ d by whit or Information, in any. of her Majefty's Courts of Record, in which no Eflbin, Protection, Privilege or W;iger of Law, fhall be admitted or allowed.
