An Afl for appointing Wardens and AfTay Mafters for afiaying Wrought Plate in the Cities of Tork, Exeter, Brifiol, Chsfter, and Norwich, ' ^T7 HERE AS the Goldfmiths, Silverfmiths, and Plateworkers of this Kingdom, remote from the ' VV City of London, are under great Difficulties and Hardfhips in the Exercife of their Trades, for Cities appointed ' want of AfTayers in convenient Places to afiay and touch their Wrought Plate ;' For Remedy whereof, ■Wrought"platc!' .^"'^ ^°^ preventing all Frauds and Corruptions therein, be it enaiSed by the King's rnofl excellent Ma- • By lAnna, ' j^fly, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this flat.
