' and impowered to give the faid Oath, that the Herrings in fuch Debenture mentioned were cured with Salt, for which the Duties had been paid, and not drawn back, and that the fime is really exported to Parts beyond the Seas, and not relanded or intended to be relanded in England, Wcdcs, or Bcryjtck upon Tweed; for which Debenture no Fee or Reward fliall be taken ; and in cafe the Officer hereby directed to pay fuch Debenture, fliall not have fufficient Money in his Hands to pay the fame, then upon Certifi- cate thereof by him made (which Certificate he is hereby required to give the Party gratis) the principal Commiffioners for managing her Majefty's Revenue of Excife upon Salt for the time being, fliall be chargeable with the faid Payment, to be made in Courfe out of the firft Money in their Hands arifing out of the Duties upon Salt ; and that it fliall and may be lawful for the Officers of the faid Duties on Salt, in the feveral and refpeiStive Ports of the Kingdom of England, Dominion of IVaks, and Town of Ber- wick upon Tweed, upon the Exportation of any Herrings as aforefaid, and before the fame fliall be laid ^'J^^'j^^'^ l"'* on Board for Exportation, to mark any Cask, Barrel, or other Veflel, wherein any fuch Herrings fliall feiteV and°zo 3 be exported, to the Intent it may be known that fuch Herrings have been exported, and Allowances ob- per Barrel, tained on Exportation thereof, in cafe the fame, or any Part thereof, fliall be relanded and reimported. VII.
