C. 7. , 279- {hop of Cantn-kiry, and the Lord Chancellor or Lord Keeper of the Great Sea] of Great Britain^ co'i fealed up ; and after they are fo tranfmitted, ihall be put into feveral Covers, which fhall be feverally and f?vfral!>r fealed up with three feveral Seals of fuch Refident, and of the Archbifliop of Canterbury, and of the Lord ^^^'^ upand" - Chancellor or Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of Great Britain; and one of them, after it is fo fealed up^ ^fp^'"-i-<'> '*'<=. ihall be lodged and depofited in the Hands of fuch Refident, one other of theni in the Hands of the faid Archbiihop of Canterbury, and one other of them in the Hands of the Lord Chancellor or Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of Great Britain : And that if the next SuccefTor fhall be minded to revoke or alter her or his Nomination or Appointment made as aforcfaid, and fhall by three Writings of the fame Tenor, un- der her or his Hand and Seal, require the faid Inftruments depofited as aforefaid, to be delivered up to- fome Perfon or Perfons thereby authorized to receive the fame ; then and in fuch Cafe the faid Perfons with whom the faid Inftruments fhall be depofited, and every of them, and in cafe of any of their Deaths,- their Executors or Adminiftrators refpeitively, and every other Perfon in whofe Cuftody any of the faid Inftruments fhall happen to be, lliall deliver up the faid Inftruments accordingly; and they are hereby re- fpeitively authorized and required fo to do : And if any of the faid Perfons with whom the faid Inftru- ments fliall be fo depofited ftiall happen to die^ or be removed from their refpedtive Offices or Imploy- ments, during the Life of her prefent Majefty, fuch Perfon and Perfons, and in cafe of any of their Deaths, their Executors or Adminiftrators refpecSively, and every other Perfon in whofe Cuftody any of the faid Inftruments ftiall happen to be, fliall, with all convenient Speed, deliver fuch of them as fhall be in his- or their Cuftody, to the Succeflbr or Succeffors of the Perfon fo dying or removed as aforefaid ; which faid feveral Inftruments fo fealed up and depofited as aforefaid, fhall immediately after the Demife of her Majefty without Ifllie, be brought before the Privy Council, where the fame fhall be forthwith opened and read, and afterwards inrolled in the High Court of Chancery. XIV. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That if any of the faid Perfons with whom Perfons opening the faid Inftruments fhall be depofited as aforefaid, or any of their Executors or Adminiftrators, or any ="y of the faid other Perfon in whofe Cuftody the fame fhall happen to be after the Deceafes of any of the faid Perfons, ■'"!^"'"^"'^'^'^° fliall open any of the faid Inftruments, or fhall wilfully negleft or refufe to produce before the faid Privy munL! ^ '^' Council as aforefaid, fuch of the faid Inftruments as fhall be in his or their Cuftody as aforefaid, every fuch Perfon fo opening, neglefting or refufing, fliall incur the Pains and Penalties of a Pris?nunire infiiiled by 16 R. 2. c 5. the faid Statute of Pnsmunire. . XV. And be it further enadled by the Authority aforefaid. ■ High Treafon. XVIII. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid.
