' Bills or Certificates, commonly called Dchenturcs, made forth for Arrears due to the Army, and for " ' Tranfport Services, not being applied to the purchafing of any of the forfeited Eftates in L-cland, or o- ' therwile difcharged, and alfo divers Tallies and Orders for Payment of Annuities granted by Afts of ' Parliament, are by Cafualty or Mifchance loft, burnt, or otherwife deftroyed;' Be it hereby further en- abled. That in all Cafes where it flrall appear by Affidavit, to be made before any of the Barons of the Lottery Ticket.', Exchequer for the Time being, to the Satisfaflion of fuch Baron or Barons, T'hat any fuch Tickets, Exchequer Bills, Bills, Debentures, Tallies, or Orders as aforefaid, before the third Day of March one thoufand feven ^^..'"or^oft ^nd hundred and feven, have been or are loft, burnt, or otherwife deftroyed, it flrall and may be lawfid for the not'aifcLrged" refpeftive Officers or Perfons appointed to iflue and make forth the faid Tickets, Rills, Debentures, Tal- new ones to be lies, or Orders, or to pay and difcharge the fame, or to iflue any Monies due and payable thereon, upon madeforthin the producing of a Certificate from any of the faid Barons of fuch Affidavit made before him (which Affi- =" °^ ^""^'^ ^° davit the faid Barons, or any of them, is and are hereby authorized to take, and which Certificate he or On'^ffijavit and they are hereby required to make and grant without Fee or Reward) and on Security given to the faid re- certificate, &c. fpedtive Officers and Perfons to their good liking, to indemnify them refpeflively againft all other Perfons whatfoever, for or concerning the Monies fpecified in, or due upon fiich refpective Ticket or Tickets, Bill or Bills, Debenture or Debentures, Talleyor Tallies, Order or Orders, they the faid Officers and Perfons refpeflively, flrall and are hereby required to make forth Duplicates of the faid Tickets, Brlls, Officers to pay Debentures, or Orders, and to innovate the faid Tallies, at the Requeft of the refpeftive Owners, and "= ^""^■ to pay and difcharge the faid Tickets, Bills, Debentures, Tallies, and Orders, and all fuch Intereft as is or fhall be due on the faid Tickets, Bills, Debentures, or Orders, carrying Intereft, as he or they fliould have paid'and difcharged on the fiid original Bills, Tickets, Debentures, Tallies, or Orders, if the fame had been produced, and ftiall be allowed the fame in all their refpcdfive Accounts; and if there fliall not be any proper Officer or Perfon to make forth the faid Duplicates, or any of them, that the Lord High Treafurer of her Majefty, her Heirs or Succcflors, or the Comniiiiioners of the Treafury for the Time being, or any three of them, ihall and are hereby authorized and required upon fuch Affidavit and Security as aforefaid, to order and direft any fuch Duplicates to be male forth, in fuch Manner as he or they Ihall judge to be beft; all which Matters and Things ihall be done without Fee or Rev/ard to .Without F^c, be taken or demanded for the fame; any Thing in this or any other Acl of Parliament contained to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. And whereas feveral Officers and other Proprietors of Debentures made forth by the late irilh Debentures ' Paymafter of the Army, Commiffioners for Tranfports, and by the Commiffioners of Accounts, in that'no' regiftred ' Behalf authorized refpeftively, have omitted to regifter the faid Debentures within the Time limited by with.nl /mes h- ' Act of Parliament for that Purpofe made and paiVed in the fourth Year of her prefent Majefty's Reign, ^!.'ftre™b-for^- ' intituled, Jn A6t to enlarge the Time for rcgijlring imfatisfiecl Debentures upon the forfeited Ejlates in Ireland, 24 June ijos' ' and for renexving of other Debentures 'which have been loft, burnt or defrayed:' For the Relief therefore of 4 Annje, c. 24. ' all fuch Officers and other Proprietors of the faid unregiftrcd Debentures, be it enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and m.ay be lawful to and for all fuch Officers and other Proprietors of any of the faid Debentures, who have not regiftred the fame, to regifter their Debentures on or before the four and twentieth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and eight; which faid Debentures being fo regiftred, fhall, and are hereby entituled to all the Benefit of Intereft and other Advantages, as if regiftred on or be- fore the four and twentieth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and fix. XXIV.
