Duty upon Hops, as fhall arife and remain after all the Loans made or to be made upon that Aft, and the Madefrrfcmai Interefl thereof, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Duty upon Hops, fhall be fatisfied, ^-^ J_ ^'°'^ i.y-af. or Money fufficient fnall be referved to difcharge the fame ; and all the Monies which, over and above the Allowances for prompt Payment, and other Allowances direfted by this prefent Aft, fhall arife ot or for the faid Contributions, not exceeding the Sum of two millions in this Aft mentioned, fhall be appropriated for or tov/ards the feveral Ufes, Intents, and Purpofes herein after exprefled ; that is to fay, that out of all the Monies hereby appropriated, or any of them, or by regiflring Orders upon them, or any of them, there fhall be paid and fatisfied to the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, all fuch Sum and Sums of Money as fhall be due and payable unto them, by virtue of an Aft of this Seffion of Parliament for enabling and obliging the Bank of England, for the Time therein menLioned, to exchange all Exchequer Bills for ready Money upon Demand, for or upon the yearly Sum of forty-five_ thoufand Pounds therein mentioned, from the Commencement of their late Undertaking to circulate all Kxchequer Bills, according to the faid Aft, until the one and thirtieth Day of July one thoufand feven hundred and fourieen, inclu- fively, at fuch Times, and in fuch Manner, as in the fame Aft are prefcribed ; and that all the Reft and Refidue of the Monies by this Aft appropriated, fhall be applied and difpofed for or*tov/ards defraying the Charges of the Ordinary of her Majefty's Navy, and for Viftuals, V/ages, Wear and Tear, and other Services of the Na- vy, and the Viftualling thereof, performed and to be performed, and for Sea Service in the Ordnance, peiform- ed and to be performed; and for or towards maintaining a Body of forty thoufand Men, which was raifcd to ?.ft in Conjunftion with the Forces of her Majefty's Allies, and for or towards maintaining the additional Forces of ten thoufand Men in the Low Countries; and for or towarcls her Majefty's Proportion of the Charge granted this Sef- fion.
