An Aft to give further Time for inrolling fuch Leafes granted from the Crown, as have not been inrolled within the refpective Times therein limited -, and for making the pleading of Deeds of Bargain and Sale inrolled, and of Fee Farm Rents, more eafy. ' TT 7 HE RE AS feverd Leafes or Grants have been made by her Majefty, or her Royal Predeceflbrs, ' VV under her or their Great Seals, or under the Exchequer Seal, the Seals of the Dutchy and County ' Palatine of Lancqftey, or fome of them, of feveral Manors, Mefluages, Lands, Woods, Tenements, ' Tithes, Profits, and other Hereditaments, within that Part of Great Britain called England, TFaL's, and ' the Town of Berivick upon Tweed, to take Effect in Poffeffion, Reverfion, or Expeilancy, or by way ' of future Litereit, for one, two, or three Lives now in being, or for fome Term or Terms of Years, ' determinable upon one, two, or three Lives now in being, or for fome certain Term or Terms, not ' exceeding fifty Years, to take effeft from tte Date or making thereof, or for fuch other Eftate or Term ' as (■ together with the Eftate or Eftates in Pofleffion of and in the Premiifes fo leafed or granted refpec- ' tively) was not to exceed three Lives, or the Term of fifty Years, from the Date or making of every ' fuch particular Leafe or Grant: And whereas there are feveral Provifoes, Conditions, or Covenants in- ' ferted in the faid feveral Leafes, or fome of them refpeftively, importing that the fame fhould be inroiled

  • before the proper Auditor of each County within a Time limited in that Behalf, to the end the Rents or

' Duties thereby referved or payable might be put in Charge, and duly anfwered and paid, or performed : ' And whereas notvi/ithflanding the faid Provifoes, Conditions, or Covenants in the faid Leafes, yet fe- ' veral of the Lefiees or Farmers therein named, or thofe claiming under them, have omitted and ne- ' glccEled inrolling, or caufing to be inrolled, their faid Leafes, within the refpe£live Times limited for that ' Purpofe, as aforefaid, whereby the faid P.ents or Duties are not only in Likelihood of being loft, but the ' Leafes are for that Caufe void or voidable, or the Leflees, or thofe claiming under them, are liable to ' Payments Nomine pcencs, or other Penalties or Damages: Now to the end the faid Lefiees, and the Per- ' fons claiming under them, may be relieved in the Premifles, and that the Rents due and referved upon ' fuch Leafes may hereafter be duly put in Charge, anfwered and fitisfied, her Majefty is gracioufly pleaf- ' ed, that it may be enacted ;' And be it enadted by the Queen's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the All Perfcns ha. Majefty, her Heirs and Succeffors, as againft any other Perfon or Perfons, a Copy of the InroUnient of 27 fl. 3. c. 16. fuch Bargain and Sale; and fuch Copy examined with the InroUm.ent, and figned by the proper Officer, having the Cuftody of fuch Inrollment, and proved upon Oath to-bs a true Copy, fo examined, and figned, fhall be of the fame force and efFe<£l, to all Intents and Conftruftions of Law, as the faid Inden- tures of Bargain and Sale were and fliould be of, if the fame were in fuch Cafe produced and iliewn forth. And for as much as the Fee Farm Rents, and other Rents purcbafed under an Aft of Paiiiament where any Fee ' made in the twenty-fecond Year of the Reign of King Charles the Second, intituled, An ASl for the 'i-t-n Rents,
