P R. The Toll granted by this Act of 1 Geo. 1. Stat. 2. c. 25. took Place 25 December 1715, and was to have Continuance during the Term of 11 Years, and by this Act is continued for zi Years longer. [Conti- nued by 15 Geo. 2. c. 9.] CAP. XVIII. An Act for repairing the feveral Roads therein mentioned, leading into the Town of Texkef- bary in the County of Gloucejler. P R. HERE AS the feveral Highways and Roads leading from the Town and Borough of Tewkefhury 40 Geo, 2,c. 31. in the County of Gloucejler, to a Place called Cofcomb-Gc.te on the Top of Stanway-Hill in the Pa- rifh of Sianway in the faid County of Gloneefter, in the great Road to London, being ten Miles or there- abouts, and to a Place called the Hands at Combes-Hill in the Parifh of Elmejlons Hardwick in the faid County of Gloucejler, in the Highway leading to Gloucejler, called the Upper Way, being four Miles or thereabouts, and to a Place called Wainloads-Bridge in the Highway leading to Gloucejler, called the Lower Way, being four Miles or thereabouts, and to the Parifh of Swindon in the Highway to Cheltenham in the faid County of Gloucejler, being five Miles or thereabouts, by Reafon of the Deepnefs of the Soil of the faid refpective Roads, and the heavy Carriages pafling through the faid Roads, are become rui- nous, &c.' " The Toll took Place 24 May 1726, and is to continue for 21 Years." CAP. XIX. An Act for enlarging the Term granted by an Act paffed in the ninth Year of the Reign of her late Ma- jefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Ail for repairing the Highways from Sheet-Bridge in the Parijh of Pe- tersfield to the Town of Portfmouth in the County of Southampton, and for making the faid Act more ef- fectual. P R. The private Act gAnn. c. 8. further continued for 20 Years. [Continued by 15 Geo. 2. c. 14.] CAP. XX. An Act for enlarging the Term granted by an Act paffed in the twelfth Year of the Reign of her late Ma- jefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Ail for repairing the Highway or Road from the City of Worcefter to the Borough of Droitwich in the County of Worcefter, and for making the fame more effectual ; and for re- pairing other Roads therein mentioned, in the faid County of Worcefter.
