Father at the Time of the Birth of fuch Child was attainted of High Treafon as aforefaid, or was liable to the Penalties of High Treafon or Felony, in cafe of returning into this Kingdom or Ireland without Licence as aforefaid, or was in the actual Service of any foreign Prince or State then in Enmity with the Crown of England, or of Great Britain (other than and excepting always out of this Provifo all Children of fuch Perfons, who went out of Ireland in purfuanee of the Articles of Limerick) hath come into Great Britain or Ireland, or any other of the Dominions belonging to the Crown of Great Britain, and hath continued to refide within Great Britain or Ireland, or other the Dominions aforefaid, for the Space of two Years, at any Time between the fixteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eight, and the twenty-fifth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-one, and during fuch Refidence hath profeffed the Proteftant Religion; or if any Child, whofe Father at the Time of his or her Birth was within any of the Defcriptions before-men- tioned, hath come into Great Britain or Ireland, or any other of the Dominions belonging to the Crown of Great Britain, and profeffed the Proteftant Religion, and died within Great Britain or Ireland, or any other of the Dominions aforefaid, at any Time between the faid fixteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eight, and the faid twenty-fifth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-one ; or if any Child, whofe Father at the Time of his or her Birth was within any of the Defcriptions before-mentioned, hath been and continued in the actual PoffefRon or Receipt of the Rents and Profits of any Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments in Great Britain or Ireland, for the Space of one whole Year, at any Time between the faid fixteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eight, and the faid twenty-fifth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-one, or hath bona fide, and for good and valuable Confideration, fold, conveyed or fettled any Lands, Tenements or Heredi- taments in Great Britain or Ireland, and any Perfon claiming Title thereto, under fuch Sale, Convey- ance or Settlement, hath been and continued in the actual PoffefRon or Receipt of the Rents and Profits thereof for the Space of fix Months, between the faid fixteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eight, and the faid twenty-fifth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-one, every fuch Child fhall be deemed, adjudged and taken to be and to have been a natural-born Subject of the Crown of England, or of the Crown of Great Bri- tain, to~all Intents, Conftructions and Purpofes whatfoever; any Thing herein contained to the con- trary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. CAP. XXII. An Act to explain and amend an Act paffed in the thirteenth Year of his late Majefty's Reign, intituled. An Aft for amending the feveral Roads leading from the City of Briftol. P R. ' Truftees to meet at the Guildhall in Briftol on 1 June 1731, &c. The feparate Truftees to erect Toll I3 Geo. 1. c. 12, " Gates and appoint Surveyors and Collectors, &c. On Adjournment three Truftees not appearing, to 22 Geo. 2. c. 28, ' be further adjourned to that Dav fevennight. After Repayment of Charges, &'c: the Toll to be ap- ' piied feparately. Application of Toll for common Roads near Briftol. Truftees may aftign over the ' feveral Tolls. Roads fufficiently amended, and Loans paid off, Toll to ceafe.
