The TITLES of the STATUTES, s ute 14. An Act for the better and more eafy rebuilding of the Town of Tiverton in the County of Devon, and for de- termining Differences touching Houfes and Buildings burnt down and demolished by rcafon of the late dread- ful Fire there, and for the better preventing Dangers from Fire for the future. 15. An Act for rendring more effectual an Act patted in the thirteenth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Firft, intituled, An Ac! for improving the Navigation of the River Ouze in the County of York. . 16. An Act for the better and more eafy rebuilding of the Town of Blandford Forum in the County of Dorfet, and for determining Differences touching Houfes and Build- ings burnt down or demolifhed by reafon of the late dreadful Fire there. 17. An Act for the further Application of the Sinking Fund, by paying off one million of South Sea Stock; and tor appropriating the Supplies granted in this Sef- iion of Parliament ; and for making forth Duplicates of Exchequer Bills, Lottery Tickets, and Orders loft, burnt or otherwife deftroyed. iS. An Act for the further Qualification of Juftices of the ■ Peace. 19. An Act to oblige the Juftices of the Peace at their Ge- neral or Quarter-Seflions to determine Appeals made to them according to the Merits of the Cafe, notwith- standing Defects of Form in the original Proceedings; and to oblige Perfons fuing forth Writs of Certiorari to remove Orders made on fuch Appeals into his Majefty . Court of King's Bench, to give Security to profecul the fame with Effect. 20. An Act for the better Regulation and Government of Pilots licenfed by the Corporation of Trinity Houfe of Deptford Strond in the County of Kent, and to pre- vent Mifchiefs and Annoyances Upon the River of Thames below London Bridge. %l. An additional Act for the Encouragement of the Woollen Manufacture of this Kingdom, by the more effectual preventing the unlawful Exportation of the Woollen Manufactures of the Kingdom of Ireland to foreign Parts. sz. An Act to prevent the Exportation of Hats out of any of his Majdty's Colonies or Plantations in America, and to reftrain the Number of Apprentices taken by the Hatmakers in the faid Colonies or Plantations, and for the better encouraging the making Hats in Great Britain. 33. An Act for making void the feveral Contracts for Sale of the Eftate of James late Earl of Derwentwater, to William Smith, Efq; and alfo of the Annuity of two hundred Pounds during the Life of Charles Radcliffe, and the Arrears thereof to Matthew White, Efq; and the feveral Conveyances made in purfuance of the fame. 24, Ai> Act for encouraging the Growth of Coffee in his A4ajeft y's Plantations in America. 25. An Act to prevent the committing of Frauds by Bank- rupts. 31. An Act for appointing Commiflioners for taking, fta- ting and determining all the Claims and Demands of the Creditors of The charitable Corporation for Relif of indu- Jlrious Poor, by ajfyling them with [malt Sums upon Pledges at legal Inter eft; and of all Perfons claiming any Share or Intereft in the Stock or Fund of the faid Corporation, and for enabling the faid Corporation to name one Per- fon to be an Affignee under the refpective Comrr iffions of Bankruptcy awarded againft George Robinfon and John Thomfon; and for enabling the Commiflioners acting under the faid Commiflions of Bankruptcy to proceed and enquire of the Eftates, Goods and Effects of the faid Bankrupts, and to apply the fame ; arid to oblige John Thomjbn, Father of the faid John Thomjon the Bankrupt, to appear before the faid Commiflioners of Bankruptcy in England. 32. An Act to reftrain Sir Robert Sutton Knight of the Bath, Sir Archibald Grant Baronet, Denis Bond, William Boroughs, Efquires, Richard Woolley and Thomas Warren, from going out of this Kingdom for the Space of one Year, and until the End of the then next Seffion of Par- liament ; and for difcovering their Eftates and Effects, and to prevent the tranfponing or alienating the fame; and to oblige William Squire to furrender himfelf at a Time and Place mentioned in the Act, and to give Se- curity for his not going out of this Kingdom for the Space of one Year, and until the End of the then next Seffion of Parliament, and for difcovering his Eftate and Effects, and to prevent the tranfporting or alienating the fame; and for committing the aforefaid Willian Bo- roughs to the Prilbn of the Fleet, until he (hall have com- plied with the Directions of this Act. 33. An Act to explain, amend, and render more effectual an Act paffed in the firft Year of his prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled, An Act for punijlnng fuch Perfons as Jhall wilfully and malicioufy pull down or deftroy Turnpikes for repairing Highways, or Locks or other Works erecled by Au- thority of Parliament for making Rivers navigable.
