Farthing, for extraordinary Services not provided for by Parliament. 10 >m}- s.s- 11 d. for de- fraying the Expence in augmenting »he" Forces, &c, thoufand [even hundred and thirty-five, and fo much Money, if any fuch be r of the Duties thereby granted and continued, as (hall arife or remain after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft, Premium, or Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for railing the faid Duties (hall be fatisfled, or Money fufficient (hall be referved in the Exche- quer to difcharge the fame; and all the Monies coming into the Exchequer upon one other Act of this hellion of Parliament, intituled, An Aci for enabling his Majefly to apply the Sum of one million out of the Sinking Fund, for the Service of the Tear one thoufand f even hundred and thirty-five, of the Surpluffes, Ex- cefles or Overplus Monies, commonly called The Sinking Fund, at any Time before the Feaft Day of the Annunciation of the Bleffed Virgin Mary, which (hall be in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-fix ; and all the Monies coming into the Exchequer by Loans upon one other A£t of this Seifion of Parliament, intituled, An Aci for granting and continuing the Duties upon Salt,, and upon Red and White Herrings, for tie further Term of four Years, and for giving further Time for the Payment of Duties omitted to be paid J or the Indentures and Contrails of Clerks and Apprentices, and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Duties thereby granted and continued, as (hali arife or remain ^fter all the Loans made pr to be made on the fame Aci:, and all the Intereft and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for railing the faid Duties (hall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient (hail be referved to difcharge the fame ; and all the Monies coming into the Exchequer either by Loans or Exchequer Bills upon this Act, and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Tax thereby granted, as" fhall be or remain, after all the Loans or Exchequer Bids made or to be made on this A6r, and all the Intereft, Premium or Rate, or Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for railing the faid Land Tax, (hall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient (hall be referved to difcharge the. fame ;. (hall be ap- propriated and applied, and are hereby appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein expreffed, fubject neverthelefs to fuch Reftrictions as are herein, after prefcribed ; that is to fay, It is hereby enacted and declared, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies aforefaid, there, (hall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding one million feven hundred fifty-eight thoufand nine hundred and fourteen Pounds nine Shillings and feven Pence, for or towards the naval Services herein after more particularly expreffed ; that is to fay, for or towards defraying the Charge of the Ordinary of liis Majefty's Navy, and for Half-pay to Sea Officers, and for or towards Victuals, Wages, Wear and Tear of the Navy, and the Victualling thereof, performed and to be performed ; and for or towards Sea Services in the Office of Ordnance, performed and to be performed ; and for or towards other Services of the Navy, performed and to be performed. CXL11L And it is hereby enaited, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies as aforefaid, there (hall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding ten thoufand Pounds, upon Account, for or towards the Support of the Royal Hofpital at Greenwich, for the better Maintenance of the Seamen of the faid Hofpital y worn out and become decrepit in. the Service of their Country. CXLIV. And it is hereby alfo enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies as aforefaid, there fhall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding one hundred and four thoufand four hundred fifty-three Pounds five Shillings and three Pence, for or towards de- fraying the Charge of the Office of Ordnance for Land Service performed and to be performed, and for defraying the extraordinary Expence of the Office of Ordnance for Land Services, not provided for by Parliament. CXLV. And it is hereby likewife enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies, provided as aforefaid, there fhall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding one million one hundred fifty-nine thoufand fix hundred twenty-one Pounds one Shilling and a Penny Farthing, for or towards maintaining his Majefty's Land Forces, and other Services herein after more particularly expreffed ;. that is to fay, any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding feven hundred ninety-four thoufand five hundred twenty-nine Pounds four Shillings and feven Pence Half-penny, for defraying the Charge of twenty-five thoufand feven hundred forty-four Men, including Commiflion and Non-commiffion Officers and Invalids, for Guards, Garifons, and fix independent Companies for the Service of the Highlands, and other his Majefty's Land Forces in Great Britain, Guernfey and Jerfey, and other Services relating to the Forces, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred arid thirty-five; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding two hundred and fifteen thoufand feven hundred and ten Pounds fix Shillings and five Pence Half-penny, for maintaining his Majefty's Forces and Garifons in the Plantations, Minorca and Gibraltar, and for Provifions for the Garifons at Annapolis Royal, Canfo, Placentia and Gibraltar, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-five ; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding eighteen thoufand eight hundred and fifty Pounds nine Shillings and two Pence, upon Account, for Out-Peniioners of Chelfea Hofpital, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-five; and any Sum or Sums, of Money, not exceeding ten thou- fand two hundred feventy-three Pounds one Shilling and feven Pence Farthing, for defraying feveral extraordinary Expences and Services incurred, and not provided for by Parliament ; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding ten thoufand three hundred ninety-three Pounds five Shillings and eleven Pence, to compleat the Sum of eighty-one thoufand five hundred fixty-eight Pounds five Shil- lings and eleven Pence, for Services incurred by augmenting his Majefty's Forces, and in concerting fuch other Meafures as the Exigency of his Majefty's Affairs have required ; and any Suni or Sums of Money, not exceeding forty-nine thoufand eight hundred thirty-four Pounds thirteen Shillings and four Pence, upon Account of Half-pay to the reduced Officers of his Majefty's Land Forces and Marines, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-five, fubject neverthelefs to fuch Rules to be ob- feryed in the Application of the faid Half-pay, as arc herein after preicribed concerning the fame ; and
