' dred and eight Pounds nineteen Shillings and nine Pence, which, with the faid Sum of thirty-nine ' thoufand eight hundred and thirty-four Pounds fixteen Shillings and feven Pence, making together 4 feventy-eight thoufand feven hundred and forty-three Pounds lixteen Shillings and four Pence, and " being deducted out of the faid Sum of one hundred and three thoufand fix hundred and thirty-rive ' Pounds fix Shillings and two Pence, the Deficiency (landing out on the eighth Day of March one ' thoufand feven hundred and thirty-five, on the Offices of the faid four Matters, was reduced to the ' Sum of twenty-four thoufand eight hundred and ninety-one Pounds nine Shillings and ten Pence :

Act be intitled "to fuch and the like Relief, as was given to and provided for the other ' Suitors of the Court of Chancery; by and under the fame Act ;' Wherefore we your Majefly's moft du- tiful and loyal Subjects the Commons of Great Britain in Parliament aflembled, being defi'rous to pro- vide for the Relief of the Creditors of the faid Bankrupts claiming under the faid Commiffion, do give and grant unto your Majefly for that Purpofe the Sum of eleven thoufand four hundred and eighty-live Pounds four Shillings and five Pence, to be raifed by continuing the Duties herein before -mentioned for a further Term, and therefore do moft humbly befeech your Majefty that it may be enacted, and be it enacted by the King's mod Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Content of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament alfembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That the faid Duties granted by the -faid former Act fhall, by virtue of this Act, be con- tinued, and be payable and paid upon the feveral Writs and Law Proceedings in the faid former Act mentioned, for the further Term of four Years, to be computed from the fecond Day of Augu/f, which fhall be in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and forty-two ; and that the'Vaid former Act, and all Powers, Provifions, Penalties, Articles and Claufes therein contained, for and con- cerning the faid Duties, fhall continue and be in full Force for the further Term of four Years, to commence and be computed as aforefaid, and fhall be applied, practifed and executed for raifing, levy- ing, collecting, paying and applying the fame, as fully to all Intents and Purpofes as if all and every the Claufes, Powers, Matters and Things in the faid former Ad contained had been or were in this Act repeated, and againft particularly enacted. II. And it is hereby further enacted, That out of the before-mentioned Sum of thirty-eight thou- ' fand nine hundred and eight Pounds nineteen Shillings and nine Pence, which has arifen and been collected by and out of the Duties directed to be levied by the faid former Act, from the fecond Day of Augujl one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-fix, to the third Day - of March one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-five as aforefaid, there fhall be placed to the Credit of the Account, Ex parte Meyer, in the Books of the Accountant General of the Court of Chancery, and of the Bank, the Sum of eleven thoufand four hundred eighty-five Pounds four Shillings and five Pence, and that the fame fhall be iflued and paid out of the General and Common Cafh of the Bank, when and as the Court of Chancery (hall direct, in Satisfaction of the faid Debt due from the faid John Bennett to the Aflignee of the faid Bankrupts Eftate. III. Provided always, and it is hereby declared and enacted, That when and as foon as the Defi- ciency of the Suitors Money directed and appointed to be anfwered and paid by the former and this pre- fent Act, and all the Money to be borrowed on the Credit of the lame, if neceffary, fhall have been fully paid and fatisfied, then and from thenceforth all the Surplus Monies,, which lhall have been railed out of the faid Duties given, granted and continued by the faid former and this prefent Act, over and beyond what (hall be fufficient for anfwering fuch Deficiency and Money lent, fhall be referved for the Benefit of the Publick, and lhall not be applied to any other Ufe or Ufes than fuch as lhall be hereafter directed by Parliament. cap. xxxiir.
